<image:caption>This abstract expressionist painting, chosen as the cover of this book, serves as a metaphor for the interconnectedness explored within its pages. Its intricate layers and vibrant patterns evoke a sense of boundless possibility—whether imagined as the vast cosmos or the glowing fabric of a city at night, it speaks to the infinite intersections of Zen Buddhism, quantum physics, and the human experience. Special thanks to Maggie Watson of Pueblo, Colorado for making this painting available.</image:caption>

The meticulously raked sea of stone gravel contains a total of 15 rocks which are placed as a single stone or as a cluster of multiple stones with a carpet of moss. No matter where you sit around the rock garden, you cannot see all 15 stones as some are hidden as you move around the garden —- the intentional design serves as its own unique koan or puzzle for contemplation. <image:title>BLOG: The Future of the Past - The Shores of Pueblo: Where Community, Creativity & Courage Thrive</image:title>
<image:caption>These found objects on the shores of Pueblo embody the untold stories which can be found at every corner of our community. Pueblo may be its own worst storyteller, but all you have to do is ask and the information flows freely. Get wet and dive into the depths of Pueblo. GH</image:caption>

<image:title>Arts - Familiar Convergence</image:title>
<image:caption>The artists are committed to visualizing the odd, yet entirely familiar, relationships and juxtapositions of converging elements; noting conversations that occur when people, places, the natural, and artificial meet in time. Benvenuto's constructed images are surreal depictions of our world of appearances, seen through a veil of perceptive conjecture and contrivance. By placing environments, objects, and people in an orchestrated context, Benvenuto evokes a personal and reflective narrative. Malella's photographs examine the harmony or dissonance of Our relationship to the land. He is interested in the marks we make, physically and psychologically, onto our planet and how those alterations shift geological, ecological, and sociological patterns during our tenure. He finds solace in nature's ability to adapt and reclaim its boundaries, but warns of the time it may take to do so. Kevin Malella | Bob Benvenuto</image:caption>

<image:title>Arts - A Lifetime Drawing Conclusions</image:title>
<image:caption>‘A Lifetime Drawing Conclusions: American Artist & Author, Tom Taylor aka The Poet Spiel aka Thoss W Taylor’ is being published for this exhibition; a heavily illustrated collection of this artist’s images, representing seven decades of his diverse career as an artist and author. 'My life-long daily curiosity to explore ideas has been the major force in discovering how and what I choose to create. I am always willing to move on to new territory, new methods, new subjects of pursuit. A major retrospective of my work may appear as if several artists had created it; but the common thread throughout is my distinctive point of view with social commentary as a consistent concern -- in both my art and my writing.' <image:title>Arts - Nina Cravens-Fry</image:title>
<image:caption>The art of Nina Cravens-Fry is whimsical, playful and emphasizes color and design. Her passion for art was clearly evident at the age of 4 when she secretly created a mural on the wall behind the sofa using crayons. This type of artistic expression was not secret for long as her parents soon discovered her drawings and she was scolded for her creative boldness. After teaching in public schools for over a quarter century, she focused on her own artistic journey which enabled her to share her work and stories with audiences around the world. Nina focused primarily in painting, handmade paper, and drawing at her studio 29 Elms in Pueblo, Colorado. She was a passionate signature member of several watercolor societies and held membership in the National Watercolor Honor Society. She regularly showed her work in Southern Colorado at The Turf Exchange Visual Arts Center, Kadoya Gallery and Steel City Art Works in Pueblo and Boulder Street Gallery in Colorado Springs.</image:caption>
